General terms
By placing an order, you indicate that you agree to our Terms and Conditions. The Movie Store Rotterdam reserves the right to amend its Terms and Conditions at any time.
Delivery
Delivery is subject to stock availability. The Movie Store Rotterdam aims to dispatch orders within 48 hours of receiving payment. However, The Movie Store Rotterdam is under no obligation to do so, and we usually dispatch orders within 24 hours! We use DHL & PostNL for delivery.
Although the majority of items are in stock, the maximum delivery time is 30 days from the date the order is placed, except for orders where the customer has specifically requested a later delivery date. If it proves impossible to deliver an order within 30 days, the customer will be informed in good time and has the right to cancel their order free of charge.
If a product is delivered damaged, the seller will supply a replacement free of charge.
Upon delivery of the replacement product, the original agreement shall be deemed to have been correctly fulfilled.
If delivery is refused by the buyer or the goods are not accepted, the product will remain available for redelivery for 14 days.
After this period, the seller may offer the product for sale again or sell it.
Resale
The resale, brokerage or alternative sale of products shall take place exclusively on the basis of an explicit written agreement and does not constitute a standard method of processing orders.
Prices
The prices stated for the items are in euros, inclusive of VAT. Unless otherwise stated, delivery charges are not included in the prices quoted. Before the agreement is concluded, the total price including shipping costs will be displayed on our website.
Please note that pre-order prices and items in stock with the supplier are subject to change at any time, as they are linked to the exchange rate of the US dollar and also to the price of shipping containers. Prices may therefore be increased as a result.
This also applies to the delivery charges, which may be increased in the meantime due to cost rises at PostNL; as a result, the delivery charges may be higher by the time the item arrives here compared to when you ordered it.
The difference in delivery charges will then be passed on to you.
Typographical errors
Moviestore.nl cannot accept any liability for the consequences of pricing, typographical, typing and/or programming errors on the website or in other promotional mailings, emails or online.
Postage and packaging
A charge is applied for packaging and postage. All prices on the site are subject to printing and typesetting errors. No liability is accepted for the consequences of printing and typesetting errors. All our deliveries, both domestic and international, are sent via TNT Post including Track&Trace. Prices vary by country.
If an order cannot be delivered due to your own fault and has to be re-sent by us, you will be required to pay the actual shipping costs again.
Payment
You can pay for your order in one of the following ways:
iDEAL: allows you to pay within your trusted payment environment, and you will be automatically redirected to your bank’s online banking page. You can then transfer the order amount immediately.
PayPal: you will be automatically redirected to the PayPal page where you can transfer the amount. You can also pay here using your credit card.
Prepayment via Bank Transfer
If you choose to pay in advance, you will receive an email with the relevant bank details. Please remember to quote the order number when making the payment. Once we have received the payment, we will dispatch your order and you will receive an email confirming that it has been dispatched.

Cooling-off period
Unless otherwise stated, you have the right, within 14 days of receiving your order, to cancel the purchase agreement by email without giving any reason and to return the order within the same period. This does not apply to items ordered specifically for you (Warehouse Stock) or to pre-orders. Any payments made (excluding administration and all shipping costs) will be refunded within 14 days by means of a voucher. There is no right to a refund if the product has been used and/or damaged, or if the order has been opened and/or not returned in its original packaging. Once the 14-day cooling-off period has expired, the purchase agreement becomes final.
If you wish to exchange a product for another, all shipping costs (sending, returning and resending) will be at your expense.
If a product is faulty or broken, it must always be returned; otherwise, you are not entitled to a refund of the purchase price.
If you specifically want a product that is still completely sealed in the brown shipping box, and has therefore not been checked by me, it cannot be exchanged under any circumstances!

Data Management
When you place an order with The Movie Store Rotterdam, your details will be added to The Movie Store Rotterdam’s customer database.
The Movie Store Rotterdam complies with the Personal Data Registration Act and will not disclose your details to third parties. Please see our Privacy Policy. The Movie Store Rotterdam respects the privacy of users of its website and ensures that your personal data is treated confidentially. The Movie Store Rotterdam uses a mailing list; each mailing contains instructions on how to unsubscribe from this list. When you place an order with The Movie Store Rotterdam, you are automatically added to this mailing list.
Warranty
The Movie Store Rotterdam guarantees that the products it supplies meet the requirements of usability, reliability and durability as reasonably intended by the parties to the sales agreement, and thereby guarantees the manufacturer’s warranty for the product supplied to you.
If a product is delivered damaged, the seller will supply a replacement free of charge.
Upon delivery of the replacement product, the original agreement shall be deemed to have been correctly fulfilled.

The Movie Store Rotterdam reserves the right to refuse orders or requests without giving any reason.
Pre-order
For pre-orders under €100.00, a deposit of 20% is required (minimum €25.00).
For pre-orders over €100.00, a deposit of 10% is required (minimum €25.00).
For so-called Pre-order Hot Deals, the full amount must be paid immediately upon placing the order.
Pre-orders are placed with our supplier specifically for you and are therefore subject to the statutory exception to the right of withdrawal (Section 6:230p(f) of the Dutch Civil Code). This means that you cannot cancel the order.
If you do cancel a pre-order, we will retain (at least) the deposit as compensation for the costs and obligations we have incurred towards suppliers. For pre-orders paid for in full in advance, we will charge 10% of the order amount (min. €25.00) as a cancellation fee.
If a pre-order is in transit or has already arrived at our premises, it can no longer be cancelled.
Once your pre-order is on its way to us and you receive the email requesting the balance, the remaining payment must be made within 48 hours. If payment is made later, the actual delivery charges will still be charged (even if you were initially entitled to free delivery).
If payment has not been received in full after 7 days, the pre-order will be cancelled and the deposit will be retained by us as compensation.
In the unlikely event that we are unable to deliver the pre-order, you will, of course, receive a full refund of the deposit.
If you wish to combine multiple pre-orders to qualify for free delivery, these must be paid for in full in advance. You cannot claim free delivery for multiple pre-orders where only a deposit has been paid.
Images and specifications
All images, photographs, drawings, details regarding weights, dimensions, colours, images of labels, etc. on The Movie Store Rotterdam’s website are approximate, are for guidance only and cannot give rise to compensation or termination of the agreement. It is not permitted to copy images and/or text from The Movie Store Rotterdam’s website without our prior consent.
Cancellation
1. Any order for items in stock may be cancelled, with the exception of pre-orders and warehouse items with a delivery time of 3–6 working days. These items are ordered from our supplier specifically for you and are therefore subject to the statutory exception to the right of withdrawal (Section 6:230p(f) of the Dutch Civil Code). The costs of iDeal, credit card and PayPal will, however, be deducted from the refund for items in stock!
2. Moviestore.nl is entitled to refuse a buyer or cancel an order without giving specific reasons.
Delivery
1. All items will be handed over to PostNL or DHL as soon as possible after receipt of payment (usually within 24 hours), but no later than within 7 days.
2. Should an item have a delivery time exceeding 7 days or, for whatever reason, be unavailable, Moviestore.nl will notify the buyer of this by email and refund any payment made.
3. The buyer has the right to terminate the agreement in the event that the delivery time exceeds 30 days or if the item is unavailable.
Returns
1. Upon receipt of the items, the buyer is entitled to return them, unused and in their original packaging, within 14 (fourteen) days. This 14-day period begins on the day after receipt of your order.
2. Should an item not meet the buyer’s expectations, the buyer may exchange the item or receive a refund of the purchase price (invoice amount = including delivery costs). However, items ordered specifically at the customer’s request, such as Stock Warehouse items and pre-orders, cannot be returned.

4. Moviestore.nl will determine whether a returned item is in used or unused condition and whether a return is acceptable.
5. Action figures may only be exchanged or returned provided they are still in their original, sealed packaging.
6. Items purchased during a special discount promotion, RARE items, Warehouse Stock items and SALE products cannot be exchanged or returned.
7. The buyer is responsible for the costs and risk of a return shipment. This also applies to the exchange of items.
8. Moviestore.nl will refund your total invoice amount to you as soon as possible, but no later than 14 working days from the date your return is processed, using the same method by which we received your payment.
9. Please note that charges for Bancontact, Credit Card, iDeal, Multi-Safepay and PayPal (which have been charged to us) will be deducted from the amount refunded.
For payments made by bank transfer, no additional charges will be deducted.
10. If your parcel cannot be delivered, it will be sent to the nearest collection point. If it is not collected from there, we will be obliged to charge the actual delivery costs. These costs are higher than the reduced rate of €6.95.

Please clearly state your order number on the outside of the parcel and do not forget to include the returns form inside the parcel. Moviestore.nl does not provide a return address. You are responsible for the cost and risk of sending return parcels.

Right of withdrawal
You have the right to withdraw from the contract within 14 days without giving any reason.
Consequences of withdrawal
If you withdraw from the contract, we will refund all payments you have made up to that point, including delivery costs (with the exception of any additional costs resulting from your choice of a delivery method other than the cheapest standard delivery offered by us), without delay and in any event no later than 14 days after we have been informed of your decision to withdraw from the contract. We will refund you using the same payment method you used for the original transaction, unless you have expressly agreed otherwise; in any event, you will not be charged any fees for such a refund. We may withhold the refund until we have received the goods back, or until you have provided evidence that you have returned the goods, whichever is earlier.” EN L 304/84 Official Journal of the European Union 22.11.2011.
A. You must return or hand over the goods to us without delay, and in any event no later than 14 days after the day on which you notified us of your decision to withdraw from the contract.
B. You are deemed to have met the deadline if you return the goods before the 14-day period has expired. You are responsible for the direct costs of returning the goods.
C. You are only liable for any diminished value of the goods resulting from handling the goods beyond what is necessary to establish the nature, characteristics and functioning of the goods.
D. Action figures may only be exchanged or returned provided they are still in their original, sealed packaging.
Complaints
You may be dissatisfied with a product you have purchased from The Movie Store Rotterdam. In that case, please contact us as soon as possible via the ticket system in your account or by email: [email protected]. The postage costs for returning an item subject to a complaint are initially borne by the customer. These costs will be refunded if the complaint is upheld.
No link to reviews
Ratings or reviews are separate from the processing of an order.
Orders are processed solely on the basis of agreed terms and applicable laws and regulations.
Force majeure
In the event of force majeure, The Movie Store Rotterdam shall be entitled, at its discretion, to suspend the fulfilment of a customer’s order or to terminate the agreement without judicial intervention, by notifying the customer in writing, and without The Movie Store Rotterdam being liable for any compensation, unless this would be unacceptable in the given circumstances according to standards of reasonableness and fairness.
Applicable law and competent court
All rights, obligations, offers, orders and agreements to which these Terms and Conditions apply, as well as these Terms and Conditions themselves, are governed exclusively by Dutch law.
